Field Base Station

The SNR® field base station is assembled inside a shock-resistant ABS or PP case, MIL-certified and IP67-rated for use in the most demanding environments.

Inside the case are housed:

• the radio transceiver unit,

• a power supply/charger,

• a backup battery,

• and an antenna connector.

The transceiver is operated directly via the front panel, and all transmission/reception parameters are defined by the installed radio system.

The upper panel, which accommodates the radio unit, is pre-cut to fit Motorola Solutions mobile radios (DMR and TETRA platforms), as well as the KAIROS repeater by Radio Activity.

A USB port, located among the front-facing connectors, allows interconnection with a Command and Control Center.
This feature enables the station to be used immediately as a Transportable Command Center — a ready-to-deploy solution for the rapid setup of Civil Protection base camps.
